FACEBOOK LIVE FAIL and Final Days of the Blogiversary Party!

Welcome to the FINAL days of the Blogiversary Party celebration. I had intended to send out an email each day but I decided rather than clog up your email inbox I would just post the last few days on the blog. Then as I was updating some things for the party I accidentally sent out a Checklist #1 email to many of you, so if you received that early yesterday morning I apologize! (Note to self, don't work at 4:00 am any more)

Blender Wheat Waffles

Many many years ago I posted a recipe for Blender Wheat Pancakes (the tiny boy in the picture is now a teenager so that should give you some perspective on the age of the post). Well I wanted to do Facebook Live showing how to make this easy recipe without needing a wheat grinder but my kids decided to be grumpy about pancakes that night.

So i did what any good mom would do and decided to change to WAFFLES instead of pancakes because for some reason those receive way less complaints. Well I had never tried this recipe before but I decided to go for it anyway. The FB Live was a little bit of a disaster, but hey, it's real life! The first batch did not turn out at all but by the end we got a few good waffles out of it.

I'll be doing a full blog post and a better video (not live) coming up later this month but for now I thought you would get a kick out of my live video fail :)
