Thinking I was healed I resumed my regular physical activity (yes including hockey). Then this summer I kept feeling like my shoulder would hurt every time I would play a game or do anything active so I went back to the doc, got an MRI and found out I had three pretty severe rotator cuff tears and need surgery. Being an active and very busy mama this was devastating news. I put
it off as long as I could due to work obligations and kids' schedules but now the time has finally come.
A week from today I will be having surgery and will have to stay in a sling for 6-8 weeks unable to use my dominant hand at all. I am pretty worried about it and want to be as prepared as I can. So here is where you come in.
Please give me all your freezer meal ideas and surgery recovery tips for a busy mom. I went through this with my son's ACL surgery but I'm not used to being the one who is the patient. I'm not very good at sitting still so this will be a challenge. Pray for me! 🙏
