Over the years I have done food storage in many different ways. I love having a year supply of long term grains, legumes, and basics to sustain me through a major food shortage/crisis I also love having a large supply of freeze dried fruits, vegetables, and meats to make normal easy meals that don't
require a lot of fuel and help me save time and money in the kitchen in my everyday cooking. But the third type of food storage I'm a fan of is having a supply of just add water meals on hand. They are great for shorter term emergencies, to grab and go if you need to evacuate quickly, and they are very compact for how much food you get. If you have specific dietary concerns or allergies they may not work for you but they are a great staple for many people who don't have
time/energy to plan, prepare, and store individual ingredients.
I recently was introduced to Hibernate Food Supply Buckets and have been very impressed with the quality over other meal buckets. They plan for 2000 calories a day where other companies offer a 1 month supply bucket which includes 3 meals a day of 100-200
calories each. NOT a full day's worth of food for anyone in MY family. I'm going to be sampling some of the different meals over the next few weeks so make sure to join my Facebook Group as I'll be posting the reviews mainly over there. And in the meantime if you want to grab a bucket or two (or ten) you can learn more and shop now at this link.
