Do you pick a focus word every year?  I'd love to hear what yours is!  It's something I like to choose to help me as I come up with goals and priorities in all aspects of life throughout the upcoming year.  I have been thinking a lot about this and have finally settled on mine for 2022.

CONNECTION

I'm feeling excited about this word because it has so many applications for both my personal life and my business life. I am going to focus on building deeper connections with my husband, kids, and friends by scheduling time for dates and "play dates" because we all know it's easy to get busy with life stuff and not make that a priority.

For my business/blog I want to focus on building deeper connections with all of YOU, my blog readers, email subscribers, customers, and social media friends. It's hard to have a personal connection through email when it's mostly me just broadcasting out info to you, so I wanted to invite you over to my Instagram.

This is a place where I can share a behind the scenes look at my life, little snippets of preparedness advice, live updates while I cook for my family, and much more. I hope you'll join me over there as I have lots of fun planned for the new year. I'll definitely keep this group going and share the most important things here but wanted to have another place to make even more connections.

Here's to 2022 being a great year full of new and deeper connections!
