It's time for October's Meal-in-a-Jar recipe!  I just wanted to give a quick thank you to everyone who has been making the meals and sharing their pictures in my Facebook group.  Check out these pictures from some of our group member's projects that they worked on this week.  So awesome!

To make jar: Add ingredients to jar in order listed for a prettier jar, add ingredients in reverse order if you want to do heaping servings.

 

To serve:  Pour 5 cups of water into a large saucepan.  Add contents of jar and stir thoroughly.  Cook 10-12 minutes or until potatoes are soft.

Add these items to your monthly delivery and you should be able to make 13-14 jars worth of meals this month.  Sometimes the product settles and you won't get a full 12 cups out of a #10 can or certain ingredients have a few less servings. I'd rather have you plan to have some extras than be sad about not having enough!

• Thrive Mashed Potatoes (1 family can)

 

After you put together your jars you can print these cute labels and attach them.  I made two versions of the labels so you can have the correct instructions based on the size of jars you are making!
