1/2 pint jars (makes 20-24 jars)
- 1/2 cup Thrive Quick Oats (1 #10 can)
- 1 T. Thrive Honey Crystals (1 pantry can)
- 1 T. Thrive Instant Milk (1 pantry can)
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of Thrive fruit of choice (2 #10 cans)
If you purchase all of the above items you can make about 20-24 individual serving oatmeal jars. Simply add hot water to the jar, shake up, and enjoy in 3-5 minutes. Feel free to substitute for any sweetener of choice or any brand of instant oatmeal.
For more of a family size meal you can double the ingredients and use pint-sized jars. If you purchase the same number of cans you will get 10-12 pints of oatmeal jars.
I don't have cute labels for these ones because I need to make a new size template for the tiny jars. Sorry!
These are perfect for busy mornings, for traveling, or to throw in 72 hour kits or for campouts (you can easily put in foodsaver or mylar bags instead of jars).
